A Guide for Law Enforcement and Entry Specialists

Ended
280 US dollars
NIC Workforce Training Center

Service Description

As Law Enforcement and Entry Specialists, many times your job is to make entry no matter how you do it. There are times, however, when you need to make entry without being noticed. Specialized warrants, surveillance, or stealth make taking the door a non-option at times. That's where these lessons come in. This class is written specifically for LE and ES and deals with the types of locks you will find, identification of locks and keyways, bypass techniques, bumping, and picking locks. In fact, while you may not be an expert in the field, you will be spending several hours leaning the techniques behind picking locks and making covert entry. Overcoming security systems, understanding the faults in locking systems, and other issues will be discussed at length as well. Students will be working on actual locks they will find in the field and class will culminate in a large scale exercise to test their new-found skills. Class length is 16 hours over two days. NOTE: Due to the sensitive nature of this class and the materials covered ONLY active career Law Enforcement Officers (background checked) are allowed to attend.
